The "Blue vs. Green Dream Game 2: The Revenge" will be held at 2 p.m. on 2 June 2013 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. It's part of the events marking the pro league's 38th anniversary.
Based on the poster, here's the lineup for the Blue side: Chris Tiu, Wesley Gonzales, Rich Alvarez, Rabeh Al-Hussaini, Emman Monfort, JC Intal, Doug Kramer, Rico Villanueva, Paolo Bugia, Nonoy Baclao, Eric Salamat, and Magnum Membrere. Conspicuously absent (so far) are LA Tenorio and Larry Fonacier.
The roster for the Green side: Simon Atkins, Mike Cortez, Renren Ritualo, TY Tang, Willy Wilson, Don Allado, Joseph Yeo, JV Casio, Rico Maierhofer, Carlo Sharma, Mark Cardona, Ryan Araña, and Jerwin Gaco.
Ticketing information is available on the SM Tickets website.
These Ateneo-La Salle alumni games are starting to lose their novelty to me. It's the second time in two years that the PBA has staged one. Even if that means interest in the rivalry is still high, nostalgia events like this should not be an annual thing. A three- or four-year gap ought to be enough.
To be frank I'd rather watch the current Blue Eagles and Green Archers duke it out the day before in the Filoil Flying V Hanes Preseason Premier Cup.

Here's the hype video for the event, consisting of clips from last year's game:

It turns out past and present Blue Eagles will face their Green Archers counterparts on the same day.
The Ateneo-La Salle game in the Filoil Flying V Hanes Preseason Premier Cup originally scheduled on June 1 at the Arena in San Juan has been moved to June 2 at the SM MOA Arena. It will follow the Blue vs. Green Dream Game.
So who benefits more from this development, the Premier Cup organizers or the PBA? I'm leaning towards the latter.
I'm just wondering whether the same TV network will broadcast those two games. After all, PBA games air on AKTV on IBC-13 and/or TV5 while the Premier Cup is broadcast on Studio 23.

Solar Sports Desk is reporting that Blue Eagles alumni LA Tenorio and Larry Fonacier will miss the event to join the Gilas Pilipinas national team in training abroad.

Uh-oh, the Ateneo-La Salle game in the Filoil Flying V Hanes Preseason Premier Cup has been moved back to June 1:

The fans who only bought tickets to the Dream Game in order to see the current Blue Eagles and Green Archers tangle won't be happy with this development. I wonder what happened among the PBA, Filoil Flying V Sports, and/or their respective broadcast partners. Somehow I don't buy that "Due to the availability of teams" line.
