UAAP Season 75 Jerseyvaluation: UST Growling Tigers

It has finally happened: the UST Growling Tigers have gotten rid of the assorted tiger prints (used as early as 2005, last seen in 2009) and tiger heads (used as early as 2006, last seen in 2011) that they've loved to slap on their uniforms.

That could've already happened last year, but with UAAP Season 74 coinciding with the university's Quadricentennial, in place of the school's name they put a Tongues-of-Fire-morphing-into-a-tiger logo on their jersey. A smaller, similar logo is on the front of the Growling Tigers' shorts this year.

I've always found those tiger prints and heads tacky, so to me UST's jerseys this season are a marked improvement over those from recent years. Now if only they didn't have almost the same style for their school name as NU
