My 2010 In Books

These are the books I finished this year:
  • Paper Doll by Robert B. Parker
  • Inside the Cage: A Season at West 4th Street's Legendary Tournament by Wight Martindale Jr.
  • Confessions of a Master Jewel Thief by Bill Mason with Lee Gruenfeld
  • A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby
  • Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams
  • Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Do-It-Yourself Book by Jeff Kinney
  • Mythology: Timeless Tales of Gods and Heroes by Edith Hamilton
  • Hundred-Dollar Baby by Robert B. Parker
  • Rough Weather by Robert B. Parker
  • The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan
  • The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan
  • The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan
  • The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan
  • The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan
  • Now & Then by Robert B. Parker
  • Hitting the Jackpot: The Inside Story of the Richest Indian Tribe in History by Brett D. Fromson
  • Live from Middle America: Rants from a Red-State Comedian by Brad Stine
  • Who Let the Blogs Out?: A Hyperconnected Peek at the World of Weblogs by Biz Stone
  • Glory Road: My Story of the 1966 NCAA Basketball Championship and How One Team Triumphed Against the Odds and Changed America Forever by Don Haskins with Daniel Wetzel
  • The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
  • Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
  • Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
  • Book of the Dead by Patricia Cornwell
  • Widow's Walk by Robert B. Parker
  • Echo Park by Michael Connelly
  • The Wolves in the Walls by Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean
  • Here Be Monsters! by Alan Snow
  • The Choice by Bob Woodward
I beat last year's tally in quantity but not in quality—I didn't read a book that was deemed "classic." Also, there are no Filipino authors on my list this year. Those should be my points for improvement in 2011.
