Project Exodus: December 2003

It was only in December 2003 that I learned how to put pictures in my posts. The process was circuitous then—I had to sign up for a separate image hosting account with Photobucket, upload my photo there, then embed its HTML code in my blog entry. Good thing it's now a breeze to post pictures with Blogger.

Dear Barrister Friends

Today is a big day. The Supreme Court is set to release the 2008 Bar exam results, so I understand all 6,364 of you are now on the SC's official website. But could you please tell your family and friends not to go there, too and break the thing? Some of us are trying to get some research done.

In a news clip that aired a few hours ago on Studio 23's News Central, Gretchen Barretto referred to herself and her partner Tonyboy Cojuangco as being "BFFs, best friends for life."

Close, Ms. Barretto, but not quite. Everyone knows "BFF" stands for "Ben Folds Five."
