No Holds Barred

She has that professorial look going on, but don't let it fool you: Sarah Palin can get tough (or at least talk tough).

This past midnight NBN Channel 4 aired her speech from the Republican National Convention. By chance I caught the tail-end of it.

The vice presidential candidate tore into Democratic Party standard-bearer Barack Obama. Part of her speech said:
In politics, there are some candidates who use change to promote their careers.

And then there are those, like John McCain, who use their careers to promote change.

Nasty! That was a swipe at Obama's chosen campaign theme, of course. When I heard it I blew an imaginary whistle and called a foul.
